Karrissa Knight is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner that is proud of her West Virginia roots. She was born and raised in Ritchie County and graduated from Ritchie County High School in 2008, where she played volleyball, basketball, and softball. Karrissa’s husband, Justin, is a Clarksburg native. Together they have one son and two daughters. As a family, they enjoy spending time together outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, riding, and worshiping with their church family.
“It means a lot to Justin and me to be able to work close and live close to our roots and raise our children in this great state. I enjoy serving patients in our amazing community. I have gained a whole other family in my patients, from birth all the way up; and I am grateful that so many have invited me into their families.”
Karrissa earned her Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree from Alderson Broaddus University in 2012 and her Master’s Degree from West Virginia University in 2014. She worked as an RN at UHC before joining Ritchie Regional Health Center in 2014 as the nurse practitioner at the opening of the Doddridge School Based site. She primarily serves patients in Doddridge County at the School Based and West Union campuses.
