Christine Merrill is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
She graduated from Wirt County High School in 1986. Since that time, she has resided in Wirt County with her husband, Kevin. She obtained her Associate's Degree in Nursing at WVU Parkersburg and volunteered as a nurse-medic with Wirt County Emergency Medical Services. She obtained her bachelor's and her master's degrees at WVU in Morgantown. In 2017, she received her advanced practice registered nurse license. With over 20 years of nursing experience in the ICU and the ER, she also brings urgent and primary care experience to her role.
Christine and her husband moved to the Pennsboro area 5 years ago with a job opportunity and they are now glad to call the area home. Christine attends Pennsboro United Methodist Church and is a member of the Pennsboro Women’s Club, as well as the Mountaineer Beekeepers Association of WV.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her “critters” (3 dogs, 5 cats, 8 chickens, and her first bee colony coming in the spring). But her greatest pleasure is spending time with her adult children and her 5 grandchildren: Lily, Evan, Brooke, Jazz, and Kay.
“It is indeed a pleasure and a privilege to serve the fine people in the West Union area. It is my goal to provide excellent healthcare to folks in the rural areas of Doddridge/Ritchie Counties.”
Christine is currently accepting new patients at RRHC West Union, offering primary healthcare services to individuals of all ages.
