​Behavioral Health Therapist

The Covid-19 Vaccine is required for this position.

The role of the Behavioral Health Therapist (BHT) is to participate in behavioral health services for school- and clinic-based programs under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director while maintaining a high level of integrity and ethics. In this role, the BHT will 1) meet with a diverse patient population; 2) identify patient’s emotional, mental, and behavioral needs through assessment and evaluation to determine/diagnose any existing or potential disorders; 3) develop a treatment plan to monitor and meet each patient’s needs; 4) provide outpatient psychotherapy to patients; 5) operate in a consultative role within primary care and school-based teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial diagnostic evaluations to evaluate for and diagnose mental health/behavioral health conditions referenced in the current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning for high-risk patients.

- Formulate, develop, and implement comprehensive and personalized treatment plans utilizing appropriate and evidence-based psychotherapy treatments and interventions.

- Possess working knowledge of diverse counseling concepts/techniques.

- Measure the effectiveness of interventions and update treatment plans as necessary.

- Provide thorough, concise, and timely written and electronic documentation necessary for optimal patient care.

- Provide psychological services for a variety of multi-specialty diagnostic/treatment teams including, but not limited to: Acting as liaison with appropriate referral sources and community agencies; consulting with physicians, clinical staff, and management to provide a professional opinion for patient care and program development; and acting as instructor for educational sessions on relevant psychological topics.

- Be responsible for making any/all referrals as necessary to aide the continuity of care with each patient.

- Maintain working knowledge of relevant ethical and legal issues that impact patient care.

- Maintain professional association and collaborate with local sources of patient help.

- Attend continuing education offerings; maintain required licenses and certifications.

- Complete any authorizations required by insurance providers to ensure the sustainability of care.

- Adhere to professional guidelines outlined by RRHC policy, state and federal law, and one’s professional code of ethics.

- Maintain awareness of one’s own physical and mental health, seeking assistance for self-improvement and general health so as to model effective self care.

- These duties are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities, rather a listing of requirements necessary to provide effective healthcare for all clients of Ritchie Regional Health Center.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Psychologist, or Supervised Psychologist. (Non-independently licensed therapists must obtain their independent licensure within 3 years of employment). Must be licensed/license eligible to practice in West Virginia and in good standing with the appropriate licensing board.

  • Prior experience in the mental health field or the provision of psychotherapy services.

  • Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations regarding the provision of mental health services.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form, and use tact with diverse audiences that have varying education levels and learning styles.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to assess complex situations and develop a realistic, appropriate, and safe plan.

  • Must demonstrate characteristics of dependability and punctuality.

  • Knowledge of treatment strategies, prevention activities, and risk assessment for youth, adults, and families.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for an HR generalist to join our team. The HR generalist is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of RRHC’s human resources department. The human resources department oversees patient and employee relations, employee compensation and benefits, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and payroll. Please be advised the COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • At least one year of Human Resources experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be discreet/confidential
  • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and reporting competencies
  • Employee relations and onboarding experience
  • Recruitment and retention experience
  • Understanding of payroll and benefits administration
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification or SHRM Certified Professional Credential (SHRM-CP) or have the ability to obtain the certification
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources Experience
  • Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS (Human Resource Information System)

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for review and management of policies and procedures
  • Conduct employee recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Resolve employee and patient issues and concerns
  • Coordinate staff development for the organization
  • Manage employee personnel files
  • Administer and monitor all employee benefits, including 403B retirement plan and health insurance
  • Maintain records related to employee grievances, performance reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements
