Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor, Lisa Fleak, joins Ritchie Regional Health Center to provide therapy services to patients ages 7 and older, in both Ritchie County and Wood County.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Bridgewater College in 2001. Later, she furthered her education by receiving a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University in 2019.
Since 1999, Lisa has worked in residential facilities with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, serving individuals who have intensive needs with mental health, behavioral, and developmental disabilities. She has worked in a day treatment program that provided highly intensive special education services to students with emotional disabilities who needed a structured, therapeutic educational setting. She has also worked in an inpatient psychiatric setting with acute mental illness and has provided in-home services to families, offering temporary support to prevent and reduce reliance on out-of-home settings for youth.
Lisa is currently accepting new patients and offers in-person appointments at RRHC Ellenboro School-Based Health Center (SBHC), RRHC Parkersburg South SBHC, and RRHC Jefferson Elementary SBHC. Telehealth appointments are also available. To schedule an appointment with her, please call 304-643-4005.
