Did you know mental and physical health are equally important components of overall health? For example, depression increases the risk for many types of physical health problems, particularly long-lasting conditions like diabetes and heart disease.
RRHC recognizes how increasingly difficult and stressful life has become with the pandemic. That’s why we take pride in offering services that support and strengthen mental health.
Pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established the COVID-19 Telehealth Program in April 2020. The Program was to provide $200 million in funding to eligible health care providers to help support telecommunications services, information services, and connected devices needed to offer critical connected care during the pandemic.
The Wireline Competition Bureau recently approved the fifth group of funding commitments under the Program and committed $42,702,383 million in funding to 68 health care providers across the Nation. To date, 348 awardees have received funding commitments totaling $208,428,464.
RRHC - currently one of only four WV medical facilities to receive the award - has been granted $960,444 for the purchase of telehealth kiosks and software, to help with COVID-19 screening and primary medical care for vulnerable, low-income, and elderly patients with chronic conditions. RRHC is truly grateful for the opportunity to expand our telehealth services to be able to provide outstanding health care regardless of location.

Did you know that research has shown that good oral health can help certain diseases from occurring. Your whole body health is directly connected to the health of your mouth!
Let us know you're coming & check-in before your visit! It's quick, simple, and secure!
Phreesia, in partnership with Ritchie Regional Health Center, is excited to offer you the ability to easily confirm, reschedule or cancel your upcoming appointment. And if you confirm your appointment, you can also complete the check-in process before your arrival at the office.
You will receive a text message and/or email that contains a link to confirm your appointment and privately check-in before your visit, making your arrival at the office fast and simple (that’s right—no more paper forms to complete in the waiting room!).
How does mobile check-in work?
Prior to your appointment, you will receive a text message and/or an email prompting you to confirm your appointment and check-in.
After you begin your mobile check-in, you will be presented with a series of questions related to your health. You can also sign office policies and consents, if needed, and make a payment if a balance or copay is due.
Make sure you provide us with an up-to-date cell phone number and email address to streamline your arrival at the doctor’s office with Mobile Check-in.
We’re so excited to introduce you to our new email and patient and registration system! Now, it’ll be easy for us to communicate important practice news, like new staff, a change in office hours, new treatments, and much more! This is just one more way we’re working to improve your experience at our practice.
We will also be sending appointment confirmations and mobile check-in emails. As a patient, you want your doctor’s appointment to be as quick and convenient as possible. By completing your mobile check-in before your visit, you can complete all of your information ahead of time, minimizing the time spent in the waiting room.
We look forward to continuing to offer you the top-quality customer service and state-of-the-art medical care that you deserve. Thank you for being a part of the Ritchie Regional Health Center family!
